David Levine is a project manager with strong appreciation of materials and construction that inform his work for new structures and renovation work. He has managed new construction and renovation projects ranging from affordable, mixed-use, multi-family, high rises to public schools for the SCA to the renovation and adaptive re-use of historic structures. His projects share a common goal for high performance, environmental sustainability, and resilience. David co-chairs the firm’s Sustainable Practice Group and was one of the firm’s first architects to achieve his certification as a Certified Passive House Consultant. He believes that architecture improves the urban fabric through the addition of well- designed, beautiful, functional, and sustainable buildings. David joined Dattner Architects in 2007 and is a licensed architect in New York State.
